此處優異的環境非常適合種植
喜愛炎熱氣候的Cabernet Sauvignon葡萄。
1971年,羅尼史壯酒廠在Jimtown的小山丘Alexander’s Crown
開創第一塊Cabernet Sauvignon葡萄園,自此開始,
打響索諾瑪郡Cabernet Sauvignon葡萄的名聲。
如今,羅尼史壯酒廠擁有三塊優異的Cabernet Sauvignon葡萄園,
由南往北分散於不同城鎮:
Jimtown、Geyserville,和Cloverdale,
土壤由排水良好的沖積土、火山岩,與受地殼變化隆起的沙岩及頁岩組成,
使索諾瑪郡成為最適合種植Cabernet Sauvignon葡萄的地區。
在法國和美國橡木桶中熟成16個月,20%為新橡木桶。
充滿黑櫻桃、李子及烘烤香料的香氣,
美味的水果風味伴有黑胡椒、紫羅蘭、黑醋栗的氣息。
