來自霍克海灣的葡萄園，土壤類型以礫石、
泥沙與黏質壤土為主，不同的土質為酒體增添深度、層次、風味。
發酵時部分採用人工踩皮，部分則採用淋汁，
以汲取更多的色澤與單寧。經過泡皮後，在橡木桶中熟成然後再裝瓶。
 

優美的李子和黑色莓果色澤、
香氣是霍克海灣梅洛的特色，單寧如絲，餘韻柔美。

義大利麵，牛肉，鹿肉或紐西蘭羊肉。
